Growing up, when I accepted Jesus into my heart, I desired to love Him, serve Him, and embody the principles of a good Christian. However, over time, I grappled with disillusionment, unable to fully live out my faith. Despite my prayers, Bible studies, and moments of worship, I often felt trapped in a “good Christian” persona, struggling to genuinely express Jesus’ love to those around me.
In pursuing God’s approval, I mistakenly believed I had to prove my worthiness of His love. While I always knew in my heart that Jesus loved me, I often felt like I was disappointing Him, convinced I needed to get my act together. But I discovered something profound: through God’s amazing daily grace, I realized that Jesus accepted me and genuinely liked me. I wasn’t merely a sinner saved by grace; I was a saint, redeemed by the King!
This revelation transformed my understanding of God, myself, and my outlook on life. Although I still encounter daily struggles, I’ve learned that walking with God makes life infinitely more fulfilling. When I trust that He is enough and recognize His Spirit dwells within me, I can embrace life fully, facing both the joys and challenges with renewed strength.
I no longer strive to do things for God; I engage in life with Him. This shift has been monumental. With Jesus by my side, I experience His love, guidance, and leadership daily, leading me toward a more abundant life!
